Starting with the narratives of living members of the Talpash family, then working backward through time, I was able to record details of the lives of over 1000 people. These names are in a computerized genealogy program, and include almost all descendants of the five Talpash siblings who came to Canada from Pennsylvania, and of Theodosiy, who stayed in USA.

The records posted in the page FAMILY TREE lists only deceased members of the family, information that is a matter of public record and is not confidential. However, I shall not enter those family records into any commercial or genealogical database, and expect that no one else will do so. I may also make available to interested relatives the narratives of the dead members of the family.

Please note that ethical considerations will not permit me to share information about living relatives with anyone, and such information certainly will not be posted to the public website. (Putting living relatives' personal information on a web page is very bad. Scam artists and others might use these personal details to commit fraud against living relatives.)

However, I do maintain extensive records on hundreds of living members of the family. I respect confidentiality: the information about living relatives is jealously guarded on one laptop. As the decades pass, this information will provide continuity and be of interest to future generations. I do hope all relatives will send me updates on their families: births, weddings, wedding photos, dates, addresses, obituary postings, and anything that is of note in your lives.
