·
President Chester A.
Arthur was into the last year, the third year of his term, after

from 1840 to 1930,
millions of Europeans flooded in to North
America.
No wonder the
United States and
Canada prospered: millions of cheap
labourers became the millions of new consumers who needed housing, and consumer
goods of all kinds. Financed by the wealthy bankers, infrastructure - roads,
railroads, whole cities - grew apace. The immigrants created wealth for
their new countries.
the first Talpash in North America
joined the stampede to prosperity.
